Our Story
Owner David Christie was born to be a builder. As a kid, David learned to independently build bird houses out of scrap wood with power tools. By elementary school he was teaching his dad how to fix things around the house, by high school he was skilled enough to remodel his parents kitchen and by college he was remodeling houses during his summer vacations. After graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in Construction Engineering management David worked in the construction industry estimating and project managing for a large commercial sub contractor. It didn't take long for David to realize his true passion was building and he wanted to “work with his hands” on every aspect of projects. He also knew he wanted to work in homes and work with owners face-to-face on a daily basis. In 2011, David started Christie Construction and his passion for building and relationships has become obvious to everyone he encounters. Christie Construction has doubled in project volume every year and continues to project phenomenal growth. The Christie Construction team has grown but the dedication to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service has not wavered.
